The 1199 SEIU Social Cultural Committee is made up of a diverse group of members, staff and friends who have a common interest of promoting and preserving the Caribbean culture of many of the 1199SEIU members.
The Committee is dedicated to participating in the Caribbean Day Parade in New York City and planning events leading up to that event. Additionally, the Committee explores opportunities for childten to learn about Carnival and to participate in the Children’s Carnival.
